Plenty of laws govern how paranormal creatures and humans can interact, but not too many regulate the interactions between paranormals themselves. That means an alpha of a wolf shifter pack can abuse his members or kidnap and exploit an innocent mage or other types of shifter. In a world where the government isn’t interested in the problems of magical creatures, they must rely on themselves or form communities and stay safe.

If that fails, they may be forced to look for an alpha strong enough to help. But help can be hard to find, and it’s never free.

Alpha Mage

Alpha Series, Book 1

Submissive wolf shifter Emma Martin never expected to disobey her abusive alpha, but that’s just what she does when the lives of her brother and a stranger are at stake. Fleeing with her brother Jason and the unconscious mage that he’s sure is his mate match, Emma’s at a loss as to how to keep all of them safe from a vengeful alpha wolf and his goons posing as pack protectors. The weak and possibly dying mage, Avery, gives them a lifeline in the form of another mage. But making contact with the elusive mage Kade Allard proves to be harder than expected. When he shows up, she finds out he doesn’t help others out of the goodness of his heart. He’s willing to save them but demands a high price. He wants Emma. Without hesitation Emma agrees to be anything Kade wants. He binds her to him just like an alpha wolf would bind his pack members. Soon she finds herself embroiled in Kade’s world of powerful creatures and heavy magic. Even more worrisome is that she might even develop feelings for the arrogant mage. Could this man, who claims mages can’t love, break with traditions and maybe even learn to love? Or will powerful entities end up ripping them apart? Alpha Mage has plenty of magic and a heroine everyone keeps underestimating. This is an adult book meant for mature audiences of eighteen-plus readers only. Alpha King

Alpha Series, Book 2

Cathleen, a bear shifter, possesses the valuable and rare soul cipher gift, which means she can heal emotional wounds. Despite her brother’s and community’s best efforts, she ends up kidnapped by an unscrupulous pack of wolf shifters. Forced to spend her days healing people while the wolves holding her reap all the rewards, soon she finds herself worn out from overuse of her gift. Getting weaker every day, she’s afraid if she doesn’t escape soon, she might never be able to get away. When she’s presented with a young dragon, traumatized and fearful, Cathleen’s instinct to shelter and protect rear up. The dragonlette is too traumatized to tell the wolves what they want to know. They push Cathleen to use her gift on the child who refuses to shift into her human form. Cathleen agrees to get the little girl to shift and talk but knows she needs to get this child away from these wolves. Now it’s not only about gaining her freedom but also saving an innocent child. A less-than-gentle rescue comes in the form of Laszlo Beithir, the Burnt King, alpha of all the dragons. Cathleen thinks they’re both saved, but soon she comes to realize she might have just traded one captivity for another. Alpha King is a novel with adult themes for eighteen-plus readers only. This is a standalone novel although some characters from the first book in the series, Alpha Mage, feature in this one as well.

Jason Martin might be the largest and most muscled wolf shifter in his pack, but he isn’t a fighter. More likely to help others rather than hurt them, he tries to stay off the radar of the cruel Pack alpha. The moment he sets eyes on the beautiful mage Avery, who Alpha Michaels had abused and caged in the basement, he realizes she’s his mate and he can’t remain a bystander any longer. With the help of his sister, he steals away with the unconscious mage and tries to keep a step ahead of his alpha. When the Pack catches up with them, he expects to be a dead wolf. But help arrives in the form of Kade Allard, another mage. The moment he sets Avery free, she explodes into action. The next thing he knows, Jason’s in a dilapidated house far away from anything he recognizes. And more worrisome is that Avery isn’t healing as she should. The mage carries around more than physical wounds, and it is up to Jason to help her mend her broken heart and learn to trust again. The big question is if he can keep her from leveling a city as her mind heals along with her body. This story takes place in the same time frame as Alpha Mage and intersects with that novel in several places. Alpha Mage and His Alpha Mage can be read out of order. Both are complete standalone novels with HEAs. These books are meant for mature audiences, eighteen or older readers only.
